I cowered at the revelation that our soul brother number one, musical architect Don Cornelius, whose funky good time was always buoyed by a distinguished gentleman aesthetic, had taken his own life. Not by a pill popping escapade gone woefully astray, but rather a volatile projectile to the dome. This was personal. A profound proclamation of sadness with a mountainous burden: Do you hear me now?

Greenbriar Mall, Atlanta’s oldest enclosed shopping center prepares to celebrate its forty-fifth Thanksgiving in the community with Zone 4 Inc.’s top-charting super-producer, Polow da Don (Fergie “Glamorous”, Usher “Love in This Club”, Rich Boy “Throw Some D’s”). The Thanksgiving Carnival, held Tuesday, November 23, 2010, marks the second year the music producer has celebrated at the mall location. Hosted by Big Boi and Ludacris, this annual community event will mark yet another free celebration for the entire family!
