Mizell Brothers Joi DJ Kemit Jam On It

Submitted by on June 2, 2009 – 8:35 amNo Comment |

Tonite our  play cousins J Carter & Sol Fusion bring back Tues Jam Session an ATL institution for soul children and lords of the underground feat sexy host Joi and crowd controller Dj Kemit on the 1′s and 2′s.  This week they pay homage to the Mizell Brothers, funk pioneers whose sleek sound ushered in a new era of jazz fusion with Donald Byrd’s classic Black Byrd as well as the Jackson 5′s sing along classics “ABC” and “I Want You Back.” Peace to sista Jodine Dorce who will have the Red Bull and a smile on tap.
